The History of Hot Pink

For our final in History of Fashion we were asked to research one historical element. I chose to focus on hot pink, most specifically Elsa Schiaparelli’s Shocking Pink. I reseached the history of where pink came from, and how it is seen in society. This color has been used to set gender norms and societal perseption.
