The Notebook Costume Analysis

One of my favorite projects, in Fashion History we were asked to research one historaical movie set in or from the 1930s-1950s. I choose one of my favorite movies The Notebook. I did resear habout the costumes, the costume designer, the movie, as well as the actores. While researching I found that the costuming was relatively accurate and the styling, make up, and hair were made to be attractive to an early 2000s audience. I loved this project and it sparked an interest in costume design as a career for me.
